Love Never Dies ...

NOTE: These images are from "way-back-when" in the old days of my original work. Back then it was photomanipulation or illustration. 3D art was for those with a ton of money. Poser had just been released for the first time ever and I was still trying to figure out how to work it. Angel of Mercy was my very first Poser image, and this Origins Digital Series is the foundation that fed my interest in digital art since then.

This was done in, uh ... 1999(?). I was working for a well-known anti-virus software company and met a guy that had used a similar technique in an image and I was just enthralled with the realism of the blood in his image. I asked how he did it and he sent me a basic walk-through. This was my first attempt at doing blood. And, for the life of me, I can't remember how to do it. I think I could reproduce it, but it would take some effort (uh, I'm the lazy one, remember? LOL!) in order to get back to doing things like this. However, as I move to learn more postwork techniques, I think I will return to such things as this.

The quote, however, is mine. I had just come out of one of the most horrific times in my life being compounded by a tragic (but ultimately remedied) situation with my family. I guess, in many ways, I'm a romantic at heart despite my cynicism about reality. LOL!
